• The Front Door to your community, where visitors and newcomers get their first impression of your area
• Provides Business Referrals
• Fufills requests for Community & Tourist Information nationwide
• Provides Relocation Packets to those interested in relocating to the area or opening a business
• Contributes to and/or sponsors Local Community Events in the area (e.g., the Annual Christmas Craft Show, the Heart of Virginia Festival, the local 4th of July Celebration & the Annual Christmas Parade)
• Serves on Local Boards, including the Robert Russa Moton Museum, Virginia's Retreat, the Farmville Prince Edward Tourism Board and the Prince Edward/Farmville Electronic Community
• Hosts the Leadership Farmville Program, a program in which participants develop their own leadership potential by through education on the role and workings of local government, education and volunteer community service
