The Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in any area, but in a rural community, the role becomes vital. With political power and resources at the state level slipping further and further away from rural communities, it is increasingly clear that we must take greater responsibility for the future of the Farmville area ourselves. This means teamwork, working as partners with local government, businesses, and citizens to invest our time, talent, and energy in this place that we call home.

The Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce is not a cheerleader. It is a leader worth cheering for. Our Chamber team is making significant contributions to the quality of life we enjoy today. We are in the game, not standing on the sidelines. That is us creating a pool of future leaders through our Leadership Farmville program. There we are working with our young people during Career Day. We are on the World Wide Web. That is us conceiving the idea of a local incentive fund to help attract new industry.

A new business membership with one contact person is $250. Additional contact persons (Associate Members) from the same business are $150 each.
