Please see below for the various events that the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce holds.

• The Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a monthly membership luncheon for members except in the months of July and August.

The Board of Directors of the Farmville Area Chamber invites you to join us for our November Membership Meeting scheduled for Monday, November 14 at 12noon at Charley’s Waterfront Café. Our guest speaker, Liz Povar, Director of Business Development with the Virginia Office of Economic Development, will share what is happening in Virginia, and how the Farmville/Prince Edward area can ‘amp-up’ their appeal to attract new business and development resulting in more “controlled growth.” Mark your calendars now and plan to attend this informative luncheon meeting on November 14th. Members: $5, Guests: $10. Credit Cards can NOT be accepted.

• The Chamber Board of Directors generally meets the last Wednesday of each month.
• Chamber members receive monthly newsletters with opportunities to purchase advertisements.
• The Chamber sends a weekly e-mail newsletter, The Weekly Webdate, each Thursday to keep members informed of business opportunities and announcements.
• The Chamber will help with Ribbon Cuttings and Business-After-Hours for Members.

  Young Professional Business-After-Hours

  at Charley’s Waterfront Café
  on Thursday, November 10, 2011from 5 until 7 pm.

  ALL Chamber members, Jaycees and area young professionals are invited to attend this inaugural event for the Chamber. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this opportunity to establish connections that will widely benefit our professional environments. • The Chamber partners with LSBDC to offer workshops that benefit and inform local business owners.
• The Chamber has the best Holiday Party in town!
