Annual Heartland Heroes Blood Drive

The annual Heartland Heroes Blood Drive will take place April 7, 2023 and will take place at the Johns Memorial Episcopal Church on High Street between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.

The annual event is hosted by the Farmville Police Department and the Farmville Fire Department. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided at the event and, while supplies last, a Red Cross and PEANUTS T-Shirt featuring Snoopy can be claimed by donors as well.

Farmville Police Officers, along with McGruff the Crime Dog, and Farmville Firefighters will be on site through the duration of the event. After donating blood, donors can vote either for the Farmville Police Department or the Farmville Fire Department for a friendly competition between the departments.
