Camp On High Bridge June 21-22: An Elevated Adventure
(Prince Edward, Va.) – High Bridge Trail State Park will permit 40 overnight campsites for the annual High Bridge Camp Out Friday, June 21. Participants will be permitted to set up their campsite 125 feet above the Appomattox River on the famous 2,400 foot long High Bridge.
Registrants can check in as early as 6 p.m. June 21 and enjoy several interactive, ranger-led programs. Check out will be 8 a.m. the following morning. Up to six people are permitted per site. Tents must be free-standing (no stakes) and measure no more than 6x10 feet so as not to block pedestrian passage. Larger tents will not be allowed on the bridge. There is a limit of six people per site. Fires, alcohol and pets are prohibited.
