Homes
A strong housing market creates a positive atmosphere for both the seller and the buyer in the Farmville area. Builders and homeowners can take advantage of the area’s low taxes and affordable housing. Newcomers to the area can buy or build a wonderful home on a site that captures beautiful scenery for maybe acres or miles. Even in the area’s developed residential communities, most home sites are a half acre or more in size.
Combined with the vigorous business community, the Farmville area’s residential community is filled with charm, history, and beauty. The homes in our area reflect a wide range of architectural styles and prices.
New construction is taking place throughout our area. Apartment complexes, town-homes, and condominiums are all a part of the residential community. The downtown area is the location for homes of early residents of the community. Elaborate Victorian designs, big American Foursquares, Tudors, Cape Cods, and bungalows provide an historic elegance to many neighborhoods. Appealing ranch style homes, many with low-maintenance brick exteriors, and split-level styles that followed World War II are also found in rural settings and neighborhoods.
Retirees can find quaint locations that fit exactly what they need in the Farmville area. From a quiet retreat in the county or an active neighborhood, to assisted living – we have it all. Residents can enjoy quiet surroundings, a clean environment and good neighbors with friendly smiles. We are a welcome reflection of Southern hospitality.
No matter the style or location you choose, a home in Farmville or the counties of Prince Edward or Cumberland is sure to be that perfect spot.
