Mission: The Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce has strived to improve the lives of those living and doing business in our community. Alongside our members, we provide educational initiatives, promote tourism, serve as advocates for local business, and seek opportunities to aid a diverse and growing population. 

On April 23, 1951, students in Farmville, Virginia, became the center of a pivotal discussion about race and civil rights, which inspired our nation in a fight for freedom and equality. Seventy years later, on April 23, 2021, the Moton Museum commemorates history and pledges to the future with a 10-hour virtual celebration and open dialogue. Be a part of this massive virtual event and fundraiser as the Moton Museum seeks to raise support for its operations, education and outreach initiatives.
