Location: High Bridge Trail at Rice Access Parking Lot
Celebrate Labor Day by participating in a three mile walk. Trail volunteer and Chesterfield County Science teacher, Michael Stange, will lead the hike and take part in a walking discussion of what it truly means to be a naturalist in the 21st century.
The range of topics will include native ecosystems, culinary and medicinal uses of native and non-native plants found along the walk. So come out, unleash your inner Whitman and enjoy the spectacular views of the trail! Please bring drinking water. For more information contact the park office at 434-315-0457 or email
