Please join me on April 21, 2018 to ride the beautiful High Bridge Trail in Farmville, VA to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day!
We, like so many families, have a direct connection to the impact of Alzheimer's. Over 5 million Americans, including my beautiful bride of over 45 years, are living with this disease. Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer's Association advances research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease. This year, I have decided to try and raise $5,000 through donations to the Alzheimer's Association through "The Longest Day™" by forming a team of friends and family to bike the High Bridge Trail together. I hope you’ll join us!
HOW IT WORKS: You sign up on the Alzheimer's The Longest Day™ website by joining the "High Bridge Ride" Team.

When you join, you can decide if, and how much, you want to donate to the Alzheimer's Association. All of the money goes to the Alzheimer's Association. We recommend a minimum donation of $50, but you can donate more -- and you can invite friends and family to donate, too.
RIDE DETAILS: The ride starts and ends at the Third Street Brewing Company in the heart of downtown Farmville. We will run a rolling start. First bikes out will leave at 9am and last start will be 11am. The distance is up to you: the trail is 31 miles long, so ride a few miles or do the whole trail out and back for a metric century!
MORE FUN: After the ride, we will all gather at Third Street Brewing for drinks, a food truck, games, and free live music!
