High Bridge Trail State Park commemorates Memorial Day with a Fallen Generals Walk. The walk, led by Education Specialist, Bob Flippen, will highlight the lives and demise of James Dearing and Thomas Smyth, the last Confederate and Union General officers to die in the American Civil War. The walk will start at the Osborne Road access parking lot and progress to the area where Smyth was mortally wounded. Total walk length is 2 miles, bring drinking water.
